Overall the watch is as described, one thing that was not as expected was the total weight, it is quite a heavy watch as the strap is metal and the face is larger than normal. I have found it a very good time keeper and am very happy with my purchase

This is a great buy for the man who likes to look trendy but practical. It has a stylish strap and the watch face is a large attractice suitable size. It has gadgets that other watches advertise but at a much more realistic price. I would certainly recommend this watch as the compass is an added bonus.

Bought this as a christmas present for my dad who is extremely fussy and had just given me instructions of a stainless watch with water features.. his face on christmas day said it all he loves it - the look is unique but not too different, it looks a lot more expensive than it is which is great when you buy as a present and very importantly for an aging dad it is super easy to set up and use. My dad is so happy and has alreday received numerous commnets about his posh expensive looking watch. I may even purchase another for my boyfriend as it is great value for money.

On inspection I was delighted to see the overall excellent quality of the watch itself and the stainless steel bracelet.In operation it keeps perfect time.Living by the sea, the tide-time selection is very useful and the compass is also useful and very accurate, especially when walking across country.The temperature function is a bonus and fun to use.This watch is very good value for money.

The Expedition watch is exactly what I was expecting after seeing the photo and reading about it on the Watchshop website. In a short amount of time from receiving the watch, I had the time and date set and the compass calibrated. I always get confused with watch functions, so I liked that doing all of these settings was so straightforward and didn't require that I press some confusing combination of 10 different buttons like so many other watches seem to require.

The watch seems really solid and has really easy to use features, no need to press several buttons at once Time, tide, temperature and compass features seem accurate although won't really know until we go camping and I try not to get us lost.

hi have hade a great experiance.by going on line to the watch shop i have a great perchas withe this watch it is exlant watch and exlant price.i have never hade a watch like it it tells tide and compass and grae time peace i cant do with out it.great for out doors ideal for fishing on tide waters

I regularly walk on the beach, and so wanted to know the tide state before I set off. The other features on the watch were bonuses, and I have been very pleased with it. The watch is large, and so sits nicely on the wrist. I don't like rubber straps, so bought the plastic linked version, and this is the first strap I've had that is easy to adjust correctly - it is loose enough to be comfortable, but tight enough to stay in place.

The face is perhaps a little cluttered, because the hand that tells time/tide/bearing is very elaborate. Perhaps the designer should have made something less obtrusive.

The time is easy to read, and the Indiglo works well at night. It is easy to set up the tide - merely check the state of the tide on http://easytide.ukho.gov.uk/easytide/EasyTide/ and make the adjustment. (This is much better than other tide watches, where a choice of country has to be made - very inaccurate.) As stated in the manual, the temperature given is the temperature of the watch body - so take it off to read the ambient! The compass is a bit fiddly to calibrate, but the manual is clear in what to do.

Overall I am happy with the watch, and would recommend it.

Looks great and is an amazing high value product for the money. Follow instructions carefully to calibrate compass properly, otherwise you think its gone haywire ! Temperature reading very much affected by body heat. Much better than the C**** digital sailing watch that I had before.
